Flex Ltd.(formerly known as Flextronics International Ltd. or Flextronics) is a worldwide diversified manufacturing firm headquartered in the United States. By revenue, it is the third largest global electronics manufacturing services (EMS), and original design manufacturer (ODM) company, trailing only Pegatron in terms of original equipment manufacturers.
Flex's corporate headquarters in the United States are in Austin, Texas. The corporation has manufacturing activities in over 30 countries, employing around 172,000 people. According to a 2019 report, Flex manufactured smartphones and 5G base stations for Huawei, and when the United States added Huawei to its Entity List on May 16, Flex retained Huawei's assets at its Zhuhai facility. This comprised 700 million yuan ($101.85 million) in industrial equipment, raw materials, and half-finished products. These commodities were held up for more than a month, but Huawei was able to collect some of the 400 million yuan goods through third-party channels in June 2019.
