Ossus Biorenewables is Hiring Intern Microbiology

Responsibilities :

1. Handle day-to-day microbial culturing, stock maintenance, and media preparation
2. Perform routine analysis such as gram staining, microscopy, and monitoring markers of growth using various analytical techniques
3. Water analysis for specific parameters required for the project
4. Additional responsibilities as and when required to meet the deadlines
5. Sometimes required to wash glass wares / Lab wares

Qualifications:

Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Microbiology or a bio-related field

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow experimental protocols

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Experience with sterile technique, microbial growth and isolation, water analysis, wastewater treatment and basic microbiological assays is a plus

Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and ALCOA Plus Principles for Data Integrity in Pharmaceutical

3. are available for duration of minimum 3 months (Possibility of becoming full-time employee afterwards upon satisfactory performance)

4. are from or open to relocate to Bangalore

5. have relevant skills and interests

6. Willing to work in weekend and late working hours up to 10 PM (only if required)

7. Willing to work onsite (PAN INDIA location for up to 2 months if required)

8. Should be available for communications (call, GWS, WhatsApp) all the time.
