Delhi-based Mankind Pharma is an international pharmaceutical company run by Indians. The business offers therapeutic goods in a variety of categories, including antibiotics, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, dermal, and erectile dysfunction drugs. Mankind Pharma was established in 1991 after becoming a legitimate firm. In 1995, Mankind Pharma formally launched its operations. With the help of two brothers, Ramesh C. and Rajeev Juneja, it began operating as a fully integrated pharmaceutical company. 50 lakhs were used as the company's initial starting money. In the first year of business, the company had 20 employees when it originally opened in two states. According to reports, Mankind Pharma is one of the top two producers of prescription drugs in India. The top-selling brand of pregnancy detection kits in India is Prega News, while the top-shared condom brand is Mankind Pharma's Manforce. In order to join the antipsychotic market, the business purchased Magnet Labs Pvt. Ltd. in 2007. Adtionally, in January 2010, it purchased Longifene, an appetite stimulant for kids that was formerly sold under the UCB brand. In 2019, Mankind developed and launched Dydrogesterone, a medication known by the brand name Dydroboon and used in high-risk pregnancies and infertility, making it the first Indian business to do so and the second in the world overall. For 1,872 crore (US$230 million) in 2022, Mankind purchased the domestic formulations brands of Panacea Biotec Pharma in India and Nepal. After that, it purchased a brand of infant skincare products and a respiratory treatment product from Dr. Reddy's Laboratories.
