Based in Hyderabad, India, CuraTeq Biologics (An Aurobindo Pharma company) was founded in 2016 with the goal of developing biosimilars for international markets. Around 80,000 square metres of modern R&D and production infrastructure make up CuraTeq's site (20 Acres). The 14,000 square metre manufacturing facility has fully segregated mammalian and microbial divisions as well as a fill and finish facility for vials and PFS. About 15 biosimilars (follow-on biologics) with an addressable market size of USD 40 billion are in the company's robust pipeline; two have already been submitted to the EMA, and four global clinical trials are now underway.
